Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle tickets & upcoming events

If you're looking for a comedy spot that feels like a local treasure, Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle in Royal Oak is where it's at. This place has been a hub for laughs since it opened back in 1979, and honestly, it still packs a punch. Every week, you'll find top-notch comedians, sometimes big names you recognize, other times fresh faces just trying out new material. The vibe is lively, the crowd is usually into it, and there's a real sense of community. They’ve done some cool benefit shows too, raising cash for local charities, which makes you feel good about laughing your head off. If you're into dinner and a show, the cozy table setups are perfect for date nights or catching up with friends. Plus, open seating means you might end up next to a stranger or a new buddy, adds to the fun, right? Getting there is a breeze from Grosse Pointe or Livonia, just hop on Mack Ave or I-96 and follow the signs. Whether you're snagging front-row seats for Phil Hanley or checking out Shane Torres in the VIP section, tickets tend to go fast, so don’t wait too long. Honestly, this place isn’t just about comedy, it’s about experiencing a good time that sticks with you. Trust me, once you’ve been there, you’ll be planning your next visit before the night’s even over.
